Caring for women through all walks of life…
Gynaecology
Listening to and understanding a woman’s needs is paramount in providing the care that is right for her. A woman is someone’s daughter, someone’s partner and someone’s mother. She is often a worker, both at home and with her career. I believe in arming women with as much information as possible, exploring conservative treatments before undertaking surgery.
I am able to offer the wide range of possible treatment choices for my patients, ranging from non-surgical to complex surgical treatments. As new techniques develop, I make sure I keep up to date. I spent several years training in advanced laparoscopic surgery, and in 2016 I trained in robotic surgery. Having these skills offers my patients additional treatment options.
Gynaecological Care
At some stages in life women may experience an irregularity in their menstrual cycle, pelvic pain or, in the latter years, symptoms associated with menopause.
I provide holistic gynaecological care and advice for women experiencing issues associated with:
- Heavy Menstrual bleeding (symptoms, treatment, service offering, research)
- Ovarian Cysts
- Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome
- Infertility
- Contraception
- Cervical Screening Tests/ HPV problems/ Colposcopy
